Paolo Coehlo A Christmas tale

This story is about a boy, who was from a poor family. They all were amusing people by juggling. They didn’t have enough money to buy gifts for Christmas, but father always said, “Do you know why Santa Claus’s bag never gets empty, although there are so many children in the world? Because it may be full of toys, but sometimes there are more important things to be delivered, what we call “invisible gifts””. Invisible gift is the love, joy and happiness that Christmas brought to people.
The boy decided to become a priest and one day Our Lady decided to descend to Earth to visit the monastery with baby Jesus. All the priests were proud of themselves, they were showing some things to Our Lady, but when it was the boy’s turn, he didn’t know anything to show to Jesus and Our Lady, but was feeling that he must do something for him. He took some oranges from his pocket and started juggling, creating a beautiful circle in the air. Jesus felt joy and started laughing and clapping, so Our Lady let the boy hold her baby.
I think this story shows, that even if you don’t have possibility to do some important and weighty things, you still can be kind and bring joy to other’s lives. And this kindness will definitely come back to you one day.
