Կաթնասուն — Ճավայի վագր (Panthera tigris sondaica)

Արտաքինով նման է սումատրական վագրին, ճավայի վագրը բնիկ է եղել Ինդոնեզիայի Ճավա կղզում: Կլիման այս կղզում տաք և խոնավ է: 1800-ական թվականներին դրանք այնքան տարածված էին, որ կղզու բնիկները համարվում էին վնասատուներ, բայց քանի որ կղզին զարգացավ, նրանց բնակչությունը պակասեց: 1950-ականներին մնացել էր ընդամենը 20 վագր, իսկ ամբողջովին ոչնչացել են 1980-ականներին։
Աճելավայրերի կորուստը և գյուղատնտեսության զարգացումը հանգեցրին բնակչության կտրուկ նվազմանը: 1940-ականներին և 1950-ականներին պահպանության ջանքերն անհաջող էին՝ համապատասխան հողատարածքի և պլանավորման բացակայության պատճառով:

Թռչուն — Բարակ կտուցով գրակլ (Quiscalus palustris)

Բարակ կտուցով գրակլը էնդեմիկ էր կենտրոնական Մեքսիկայում, հատկապես Մեքսիկայի հովտում և Տոլուկա հովտում, որտեղ կլիման մեղմ է: Այն լայնորեն որսացել է տեղի բնակչությունը՝ ծեսերի ժամանակ օգտագործելու համար։ Դրանց հավաքում էին քաղաքների մոտ գտնվող տարածքներում, ծեսերից մեկ օր առաջ: Ենթադրվում է, որ գրակլը վերացել է 20-րդ դարի վերջին՝ Մեքսիկայի հովտից անհետանալուց հետո: Այն չի երևացել 1910 թվականից։ Միակ հայտնի բնակավայրերը Մեքսիկայի ճահիճներն ու խոնավ տարածքներն էին: Տեսակի անհետացման պատճառը կարող էր լինել ճահիճների վերափոխումը գյուղատնտեսական հողատարածքների, որտեղ այդ թռչունները ապրել են։

Բույս — Կրիայի Մանուշակ (Vīola cryāna)

Կրիայի մանուշակի ընտանիքի բույսերի անհետացած տեսակ է։ Տեսակն աճել է Ֆրանսիայի Տոններ քաղաքից հարավ-արևելք գտնվող կրաքարային ելքերի վրա: Սակայն, այս տեսակն անհետացել է բրածոների ակտիվ արդյունահանման հետևանքով առաջացած կրաքարի ոչնչացման պատճառով՝ 20-րդ դարի 30-ական թվականներին։

Թահինան արմավենու ծառ է, այն նաև անվանում են <<Ինքնասպան արմավենի>>։ Այն ընդգրկվել է ամենավտանգված տեսակների ցանկում 2012թ. Այս ծառի համար ամենամեծ սպառնալիքը ջունգլիների ակտիվ անտառահատումն է և անտառային հրդեհները:
Արմավենին աճում է Երկրի վրա միայն մեկ վայրում՝ Մադագասկարի հյուսիս-արևմուտքում գտնվող Անալալավա շրջանում:
Թահինան պտուղ է տալիս միայն մահից առաջ՝ 30-50 տարեկանում։ Պտղաբեր պրոցեսը չափազանց շատ էներգիա է խլում ծառից, ուստի այն ավարտելուց հետո արմավենին չորանում է: 2012 թվականի դրությամբ Մադագասկարում մնացել էր միայն երեսուն հասուն Թահինա արմավենի:

The Impact of Time Pressure on Decision Making

We all make decisions every day. In fact, some studies show that an average person makes 33,000 to 35,000 decisions each day.

If we compare making decisions with and without time pressure, there will be a lot of differences, because when making decisions freely, you have a lot of time to think about the possible outcomes, the consequences and its all options and make a list of all of them, along with the pros and cons of each, also how it can affect you and other people. But in case of making decisions with time pressure, your brain has to adapt and think very fast, and still try to think about the things that could happen after. So considering that, most of the time, decisions made quickly often aren’t as careful and can be less accurate.

While time pressure can lead to rushed decisions, it’s also possible to train yourself to make quicker decisions easily. I can take for an example chess players, who have to make a decision where to put their pieces in a limited time. In work and daily life, people can use methods like prioritizing, critical thinking, and decision-making tools to make faster, better choices.
