Social networking sites do not seem to help people make close friends, according to researchers who studied how the websites are changing friendships.
Although social networking means that many people are now having hundreds or even thousands of ‘friends’, the researchers believe that to become a real friend, it is still important to actually meet up. Social networking has become very popular recently, but although people now keep in touch with more friends online, the researchers found that we still usually have only around five close friends. We only develop real friendships when we know we can trust someone.

Wasting money

People should spend their money carefully. Wasting money can be a pleasure and sometimes people need to waste money on necessary things, like food, clothes, taxes and so on. Also to improve their mood and have a good time. But we should pay attention not to spent too much money on things that we don’t need. For example some clothes, that are very expensive, but as other clothes wear off quickly. Or gadgets, accessories, cars, home appliances. But not everything expensive is a waste of money for some people, for example books, musical instruments, traveling, art and so on.
Nowadays every company is making many advertisements to promote their product, and it sometimes causes people to buy things that they don’t need at all. For example the company does a big sale on their product, which leads you to buy it because it was cheaper than usually. That’s why you should be careful when spending money, also it’s much better also to save some money for future, because you never know what you will need.

Hello, my name is Nane. I’m 15 years old. I was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Almost all my life I lived in Komitas, in an apartment. I have been studying English since I was 6. I am really good at swimming and I like it very much. My goal in life is to finish the school, go to a good university and study biology, anatomy to become a doctor. I like spending my free time by reading, watching movies and listening to music. Although I am a bit lazy, if I have a goal I will do what I can to achieve it. I’ve never lived in another country, I just travel with my family every year.
I like people who are creative, have their unique personality and have the same sense of humor as me. I love people who are understanding, kind and friendly. I speak 3 languages — Armenian, Russian and English, but this year I want to start learning a new language. I think I’m mostly a night person, because I get more active at night. I think I have a lot of things to improve in myself. Firstly I would say my laziness, because it interferes with good learning. Then maybe I should improve my personality.
I wouldn’t like to be famous, I think it is hard. Of course you get a lot of money, but I wouldn’t like being in the center of attention.
The thought of having a good future motivates me to study hard.
